Fellowship Development

Fellowship Development in Narcotics Anonymous is the process of supporting local NA communities as they grow, strengthen, and carry the message of recovery. It includes helping groups, Areas, and service bodies improve communication, develop trusted servants, provide training, and build effective, unified service structures. Fellowship Development focuses on collaboration, mentorship, and building connections—ensuring that every community has the tools and support it needs to thrive and help addicts find recovery.

What a Region Is in NA Service Structure

A Region in Narcotics Anonymous is a service body made up of multiple Areas that work together to coordinate services across a larger geographic area. Regions support Areas by providing:

  • Training and resources for service committees

  • Regional events like conventions, workshops, and learning days

  • Fellowship Development efforts for growing communities

  • Communication between Areas and with NA World Services

Regions help unify local efforts so the NA message can be carried effectively across cities, counties, and states.
